Busy Beaver

Tonight is my FIRST Kelly's Kids party and I am SO excited! I've had so much fun visiting with families as they have placed orders this week and I look forward to tonight's open house! I feel like Kelly's Kids is reconnecting me with old friends (from elementary school!!) and helping me meet new moms out there. I am blessed! If you'd like to come tonight or would like to place an order, let me know and I'll help you in any way I can! maegs222@aol.com

Saturday was Toyota King's Island day and THIS is the way to go. No line was longer than 15 minutes and the food lines were about the same! Melisa-Beth made sure to get her funnel cake before we left and I had fun savoring an enormous chocolate ice cream cone. Matthew hadn't been to King's Island in years so his stomach needed some time...but he found his grilled turkey leg! Melisa-Beth gagged the entire time, but Trent and I thought it looked yummy! Diamondback was definitely the thriller of the day and I could not get the thought of 'falling out of the seat' out of my mind the entire ride. It would have been much more enjoyable if I could have relaxed. I have this fear of the locking mechanism turning off and being at the top of the hill. The rides don't scare me...it's just this 'falling out' fear that I have now. Maybe it's because I have a 7 mo. old!! Who knows!? Thanks Mom and Dad for watching my sweet little boy.
Just goofy like always!

So NOT good at taking these pics....but me and my hubby!

:) Toyota Day!

Chilly Day!! STARBUCKS run!

LOVED the Halloween decorations! I LOVE all holidays!!!

Do I look sick here?!?! haha
Sunday, sis and I ran 11 miles...well actually 9 for me..I think I walked 2! I was so dehydrated and my thirst was my struggle. We ran past a Burger King and yes, I went inside and asked for water. I've never had this happen before, so I'm blaming it on my new migraine medicine. :) Looks like I need to drink a water cooler a day. Hello bathroom!

So, my friend Megan is SUPER close (days away!!) to having her baby and I'm so excited!!! I saw her yesterday and she is just adorable! She's ready to see Harper and I don't blame her. I remember being in her shoes and just wanting to see my little guy. My feet hurt, my belly itched, and I felt like an elephant. :) There is nothing like seeing your baby for the first time. I can't wait for her to experience this!!! Praying for you Meg!
36 weeks!! Now, she's 39!!!
I hope everyone has a great Tuesday. Off to bake cookies and get the caramel apple cider ready in the crock pot!

PS: A few Collins pics!
Wanting to crawl sooo bad!

Having fun with BeeBee and GranPaul

It's getting chilly outside!

This new tongue thing is here to stay!

The 'just in case' binkie. He found that somewhere in his crib!

Thank you for all the love on this pic. :)  We appreciate all of the sweet facebook comments!!

Oh My!

Happy Fall/Halloween Wreath!!

I'll admit. I stalk blogs. And, I probably stalk yours! Ha!

I've been researching cute Halloween wreaths and found about five that I just loved! So, I combined all of the thoughts and ideas and made my own!

So fun! Best part? This can be done in 1.5 hours! Collins was still sleeping when I was done!
Scrapbook paper! Just pick your colors and cut 1 inch by 4 inch strips! Then use glue dots to hold the ends together!

Pick out your ribbon!!

Use hot glue to glue the ends onto the wreath!

Glue around the entire wreath, add a big bow.....
 Happy Fall and Halloween!

Girl's Trip #1

I know it's Friday, but I'm going to do Thankful Thursday today! I suffered from a migraine last evening and was out of sorts. My Thankful Thursday post is going to be about my girls' trip!!!

The trip to Florida was more fun than I could have ever imagined. And all we did was laugh, sleep, eat, lay out by the ocean/pool, and play games! If you remember from previous posts I went with 4 of my best friends...Kristin, Katherine, and Eileen. We grew up dancing together at Diana Evans and Katherine and I also went to school together. Kristin planned the 'mystery' trip to 'Orlando' and I thought for sure that we were staying at the Nickelodeon hotel. It has a slime pit and I knew this would be something that the four of us would do together. Well, Kristin had better plans!! Thank goodness! We traveled further (by car...a Crown Vic rental!!) to her grandparent's condo in Vero Beach. Weird thing was...it was called, 'The Victorian'...just like our car! haha

Our adventures started out at the waffle house that first night on our drive to the beach. Our waitress had us crying hysterically the entire time. She asked us if we had a Waffle House in Kentucky. Funny part was, I think she was wondering if we traveled all this way to eat there! hehe
The syrup from our waitress. I wish you could have heard the sound it made as she put it on our table! I think our silverware jumped!

We continued on our drive and could not believe our eyes as we stepped foot into Kristin's grandparents condo. Even though it was dark, I could tell the panoramic view of the ocean was going to be absolutely stunning....Oh, and what's even better than the view?? Hearing the ocean as we sleep!!! And what's even better that that? A KING BED with a best friend. No queen bed with a  super tall husband. hehe I did miss him though, but Kristin was a good cuddler. :)

In the morning, I was not disappointed. It was beautiful. The condo was steps away from the ocean and we spent much time sitting on the beach letting the waves splash us in the face. :)
Couldn't get enough of this view!!

The very quiet and peaceful pool!

View from our bedroom!

You know this leads somewhere awesome!!
Four friends hit the beach!!
BEAUTIFUL!!
The Victorian 2011!!

:)

We only went out to eat one night! We loved cooking in and ordering pizza. The condo was just TOO much fun to leave! We watched scary movies, cute romance movies, and even the UK game!
Umm.....yum! South Beach Pizza is the best!

WOW VIEW!!!

Love you girls!

Florida Fruit!! Yum!
Kristin and Katherine at Captain Hirams! Thanks Corey for the suggestion!

Eileen and Me :)

Love how all three of my friends have sexy beach hair....me? I had to straighten my hair.

SO yummy! And you're adorable Kristin!
We played tons of games too! Hedbandz was definitely the most FUN game, but Kristin will tell you she is a PRO at Rook. She won three times in a row...but let me tell you...I was on her team for two of those!! hehe I can't believe I've never played that game as my maiden name is Rooke! Crazy!
Kat and Kristin.....HEDBANZ! Yes, we even played in the airport! Random people were playing along with us too!!

Eileen and me taking a break from the sun!
I am still thinking about all of the funny, honest, and sweet talks that we had together while laying out by the pool. We just get each other and there's no better way to say it than that. We get each other.

Going home was bittersweet. Saying goodbye to Eileen, who was headed to Atlanta, was tough and then saying goodbye to Katherine and Kristin meant the trip was over! So this was the bitter part!  The sweet part....as you all know...was seeing my sweet Collins and Trenty. Collins smiled when he saw me and this melted my heart. He's starting to do this when Trent comes home from work and it's so special. It lets you know you're doing an ok job. :)
The loves of my life! Trent and Collins went to Indiana to see family while I was gone! I will post pics of this trip later!

So, I'm still reliving every moment from our girl's trip and counting down the days until our next trip. Katherine is in charge of planning....oh my! She's our goofiest friend and could definitely take us on an adventure. Thank you Kristin for the relaxing trip! I needed that this year. :)

We decided that on our 25th Anniversary trip...we'll got to Europe! Starting to save now! :)

So, I'm VERY thankful for my girls.  "I thank my God for you my friend,' Phil 1:3.

4 Tuesday Faves

1. This little guy is totally my favorite....every day of the week!

2. DVR. I would seriously NEVER be able to watch a show if it wasn't for DVR. hehe Trent and I catch up a couple times a week and just hope no one tells us what happened. :) Since being a parent, my schedule has gone out the door. :) It's all for Collins....and I like that.

3. Collins' labels from InchBug came in and I'm super pleased. These can wrap around bottles, sippy cups, or whatever other cylinder shaped object you may have! These are going to be perfect for BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) tomorrow! There are a lot of bottles in that infant room!

4. And MOST importantly, I am SO thankful to have my faith. This list below is my new favorite....it will be printed off!

I have a good 30 or so blogs that I love to follow. Just recently I found this blog and LOVE her! She had found this little blessing on Pinterest and I am so glad I found it! :) Enjoy!

I will post either tomorrow or Thursday about the incredible girl's trip to Florida. I'm waiting to get all of the pics and then I'll post! I am blessed to have such sweet friends and I love how honest, funny, supportive, and silly we all are when we're together. :) XO

Look for the little blessings! Write them down!
