My {BLUE} Weekend!

We were a family divided Friday night and boy did we have fun! Trent had on his IU gear and of course I had on my UK. We made sure not to be too obnoxious to one another as we still had a whole weekend together and the loser would have to wear the opposing team's colors the rest of the weekend. :) Yes, I packed my IU tshirts just in case....thank goodness I got to wear BLUE! :) Trent was really happy with the way IU played and was glad to see one of his good friend's little brothers play so well for the team. So, it was a weekend of blue and my hubby was such a good sport!

**Funny Story: So we're headed to the game on the MARTA (the train) Friday night and there are thousands of people right?!? In walks our friend Brian Lawless who we've known since he was a baby! I used to babysit him when they were our neighbors! Crazy. So we got to chat for a bit and even ended up giving him a ride home on Sunday! Too funny!

**SISSY: So Sissy was at a Bachelorette party this weekend and was flying into Atlanta Sunday morning at 9! We talked her into skipping her flight home to stay for the game!! We had a blast and were even able to sit next to eachother to watch the CATS win again!!

Here are some pics from the oh-too-fun weekend. :)

My best friend Eileen (who lives in Atlanta...you'll see pics in a second) was able to get us suite tickets for the HAWKS game! We watched a little bit of this game and then headed to the Baylor/Xavier game.

Trent was in heaven!

I've never done anything like this before!

My buddies Eileen and Linds! Linds lives in Cincinnati and drove into Lexington Thursday night to catch a ride with us! We had a blast!

A sea of blue!

:)

LOVED him!!

:) Still loving eachother. :)

On Saturday we went to this awesome place called, STATS. We sat on the 3rd floor terrace for most of the day/night watching games and hanging out! Notice Trent in his UK. He really does love me!

Sunday morning! Brian and Sissy are here to cheer on the CATS! They were good luck!

After a 40 minute trip on the MARTA back to our car and a 30 minute trip at Wendy's we were headed home! Good thing we have a big car!

Thanks Eileen and Linds for making this such an awesome weekend with friends. I miss you guys already! xoxo

What was Collins doing all weekend with BeeBee and GranPaul? Being spoiled rotten! Thanks mom and dad for watching my sweet baby!

Playing in all the drawers....

Trying new foods.....

Should I Run to CATlanta?

With all the running I've been doing lately, I might as well run to Atlanta tomorrow. **Trent surprised me with a trip to Georgia this weekend to watch the CATS....and IU play. :) So fun! One of our teams will play again on Sunday, so it was just too good to pass up.** From this past Sunday to this Sunday, I will have run 27 miles. Nuts I know. Something about it is getting just a tad easier, but I have still yet to reach that runner's high everyone talks about. Hmmm.....maybe someday?!

Before I started running last summer, sissy told me that I was going to love the running world. As I came around my block that first time huffing and out of breath I couldn't help but call her crazy. But, there truly is something to say about the people you run with on race day. Everyone is happy....everyone is pushing you along....everyone is excited. There's something special about it and I love being in the atmosphere of runners on running day.

This past weekend sis and I drove to Cincinnati to celebrate Lindsey's 30th and run a 15k! Running 9.3 miles on the hills of Cincinnati was quite painful. Sis and I both had our breaking down moments, but neither one of us cried! :) That's why I love running together....we lift eachother up!

We ran with an avg. pace of 8:55 (last summer we ran 10 minute miles....well I did...she just ran with me) and by the end my legs were noodles. Sissy made me sprint to the finish line....at least there was food waiting for me. It's amazing how much she's pushed me these past 9 months or so. I owe it all to her. I think she has a future career in training. I call her my Jillian Michaels. xo Now, we're looking for another mini to do....has anyone done the Louisville Derby mini?

Happy 30th Linds! **Linds and I have been friends since we were 3!**Heading to go watch the CATS!

Sprinkling Momma K

Baby ShOwErS are exciting....but how much more exciting is a SpRiNkLe when you know how awesome life is going to be with a little one. Come on Trent....are you ready for another one?!?! :)

Katherine, Eileen, and I sprinked our best friend Kristin with lots of love and fun. Her little one is due April 16th and if this little one is even one ounce as sweet as her daughter, Eliza Jane, this baby is going to be the best! We can't wait!  (I also sprinkled my friend Mary too! She is having twin girls on March 26th! Click here to see the pics!)

We found these adorable invites on Etsy. We paid for the design and then printed them on cardstock! We attached twine and ribbon and they turned out super cute! Thanks Etsy! (we looooved the wording!)

We took the 'sprinkle' idea and made it a sprinkle candy theme! We had ice cream with sprinkles and friends and family had sprinkles to take home for their own sundaes! It was a lot of fun and Kristin was sprinkled with loads of diapers, wipes, and butt paste. :)

:) Eliza Jane got lots of goodies!

The beautiful momma!

Eileen, Kristin, Katherine, and me :)....being goofy as always...these are the girls I went on my girls trip with!

Sweet friends!

Kristin's sweet sisters, Lauren and Shannon

Sweet family!

Sprinkled with LOTS of love!

Kristin sent me this picture that night....Eliza Jane devouring the sprinkle marshmallow treat!! xoxo
